FOAK (Particularly Mr Bonwick) Gear Cutters

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by Wicked Uncle Nigel, Mar 3, 2010.

  1. Right, this one'll probably beat the FOAK, but here goes.

For reasons that are far too dull to go into, I am trying to find a set
of gear cutters (preferably 1 to 8), with a 20 degree pressure angle and
(and here's the kicker) in 38 DP.

I think such beasts are mythical, and I *really* don't want to have to
    try to make them.

Anyone who has a set lying around gathering dust just acquired a
    money-making opportunity.

You'll almost certainly have to have them made to order.

Yeah, I thought that might be the answer. I think I'll get something a
bit more mainstream and make both gears.

Why don't you get the gears made by someone else?
