Has anyone used www.kenable.co.uk for cables. I ask because they seem
significantly cheaper than the Maplins of this world. Optical (Toslink)
cables should be much of a muchness as long as they are competently
    constructed....

    Cheers.
I'd just like to point out to the house the extortionate cost of AV cables
in PCW, Currys, Maplins and even (sob) Richer Sounds.

    Well duh.
    Thought they'd be better really.
Not suprised. They need to balance the books after getting rid of all the
    cheap tat.

It's a fantastic con and no mistake.

Saw some 2m ones in Lidl earlier, didn't notice price but doubt that
    they're extortionate.

I find it a bit off pissing that even Richer Sounds aren't immune to taking
the piss on accessories. Otherwise they're pretty good and it's a real shame
they blow their reputation on something like this.

**** me, I don't believe it. You think MS have finally sorted out a piece of
software (fixed the sig issue for the umpteenth time) only to be lulled into
a sense of false security and miss all the other shit it's got wrong. I
really don't know why I persist with their apps.

You have my most humble apologies.

    <waves>

I got a VGA cable and a VGA switch box off them for less money than I could
get just a cable from anywhere else.

    Both have worked perfectly since.

I thought Maplins would be the cheapest but they REALLY took the piss on
price when I was checking last time.

The desired effect was achieved without getting het up, so it's all

Here (sense of humour), have a bite at that. I've always wondered how people
struggle with posts that don't come out as expected, or can't seem bothered
to work out the details, so instead post a "Fix your fucking posts YTC"
    response.
    Serenity ? Pah!
