Why would I put a hundred quid on a credit card?

My concern now is getting the first Sport 1000, tbh, which seems much
    less likely.

Ahh it's only £100, I'd have thought you'd have had to put down a couple
    of grand as a deposit.
    Yeah, could prove tricky.

    It's all they wanted.
I'll phone a few other dealers. Like the big one at Angel.

Weren't yuo saying that you won't have a bike for a year or so?
    Wouldn't you lose it anyway?

No - it would still be valid for however long it's valid - torching the bike
and claiming would mean a claim for the next 3/5 years - not very clever.

Also, I will still be insuring a bike. It just has a few issues that's all.

heh. Well, it's all sorted now. Ducati UK have been extremely
helpful, assure me that I won't lose my place in the queue for the
Sport 1000 (pretty near the fucking front) and another dealership will
handle the supply of my bike. And they'll knock a hundred nicker off
    the price.

I am impressed with them thus far.

However, I'm slightly concerned that I might turn into an
antonye-alike blinkered Ducati brand evangelist. What can I do to
    avoid this?

My brother used a large dealership in Liverpool to sell his bike when
What dealership was it, out of interest? Got a GN 125 to dispose of
very soon. Would it be worth hanging on till summer next year for a
decent sale price or would it not make much difference now?
