I've not had *that* many sets of leathers and I'm not an awkward
shape to make them fit easily (normal length arms and legs) so I've
never needed made to measure. I've always used Dobbs in Northampton
because they backed racers and made a serious effort to either get new
ones or repair damaged ones if you needed them for a race.

I think Paul Varnsverry knows the shop pretty well and would probably
agree with my sentiments about them. The last time I used them was
after I crashed at Pembrey and when I told them I needed them back for
a race they were done in under a week at what I thought was a very
    good price.

I did the same when I bought my wolf leathers, which fit as though they
    were made to measure anyhow.

  7. Peter Dobbs retired two or three years ago and I believe the shop is
now run by his daughter (although I understand Peter still makes the
    occasional 'special guest appearance').

Alternatively, I don't know whether Karen at ZAK Leathers (Google for
contact details) might be able to help. She does tend to be kept busy
with her own brand product repairs and alterations, however.
