FOAK : Northern Contingent - Hotels near Croft / Darlington

Any recomendations - as in - have stayed there and it was nice, had good
beer, good food, didn't smell of piss and didn't cost £300 per night ?

 

The only one I've stayed in that's near to there is The Morritt Arms
Hotel (http://www.themorritt.co.uk/).

It's *very* nice, and it certainly doesn't cost £300 per night, but it
might be a bit more up-market than you're looking for.

 

Nice, if I could get away with claiming it as expenses I would.....

Budgeting up to £60ish for a nice pub or B&B.

 

There's a B&B next-door to it, which I think YTC#1 has stayed in.

Anyway, haven't you stayed in the Billingham Arms before? What was wrong
with that?

There's quite a choice in the radius around Croft Circuit. Places like
Darlington, Richmond & Northallerton are all within a short drive/ride.
