There once was, many eons ago, a sc-fi film made, about the earth gradually
getting closer to the sun. Everything was getting hotter and crops dying
etc. Water became a real scarce commodity.
Can anyone remember the bloody title of the damned thing, coz I've been
grinding the ol' grey matter all day with no success. It's now driving me
mad, and I've been googling like a google thing all evening.

    Taa.

Oh don't start on films, I've got an image in my mind of a horror film I saw
as a kid and have not been able to find out anything about it since then...
bugged me for 35 years it has, aaaagh.

Truth is Cane, I can't remember, that's why I fancy finding the film and
watching it again. Must have been a kid when I saw it originally.?

I can think of two but it's been a while since I saw them.

    When Worlds Collide
another planet + star pass through our solar system and we transfer to
the new planet because its star will destroy Earth.

The Day The Earth Caught Fire
I think it's about nuclear tests with one large bomb blowing Earth off
its orbit and things get very hot until another bomb is let off to correct
    the orbit.

He was a kid. It could have been something as scary as
    "Carry On Screaming".

I doubt if I'll have that much left if he's reelected.

I'm waiting until he gets re"elected", when I can post something along the
lines of "Well done. Have a nice civil war."

  16. It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember "Cane"
The one on the other side of the sun? Dead handy, that.
