Forgive my iN00bness but I know this is a good place to ask.

1] What's the best way to transfer the data from a Nokia N96 to an
    iPhone?

2] Using the iPhone's USB lead, can I plug it into to any PC and get
    the battery charged?

3] Nokia PC Suite allows me to send texts from my laptop via the
phone. Is there something similar for the iPhone?

The other 100 questions will follow ;-)

    TIA

God no! If you do that your PC will realise how desperately un-cool it
is and will instantly commit seppuku,

What data? Typical customers, half-assed requirements specification!
No. Why would you want to?

Well, that's a given. But I've never understood the whole sending
texts from computers thing. I've been able to do it with every Nokia
I've had but never done so. But I don't really send that many texts.

Sync them from the Nokia to Windows Address Book or Outlook using
    Nokia PC Suite.

Sync them from Windows Address Book or Outlook to iPhone using iTunes.

Cheers Ben, this is the route I've gone down. Didn't realise how
untidy my contacts where in Outlook. Time for some housekeeping while
I wait for the sim activation.

    Cane wibbled forthrightly:
Export them all to excel and do the job there. It's much easier. Then
    reimport it into Outlook.
