FOAK : Hotels near Arsenals Emirates Stadium ?

Hi FOAK,

Anyone know of anything half decent close to the stadium ?
I've got to spend Mon/Tues at LMU's Science Lab which is basically next door
to the stadium.
I don't fancy having to get there at 8.00am on Monday morning from Oxford.

you should know it's fairly shite around the whole area.

 

Immediately around Ashburton Grove is pretty bad. But Highbury Fields and
Highbury itself is far from shite.

well, true. But I still don't think there are any "half decent" hotels

Agree. Although the OP might want to look closer to the bottom end of Upper
Street e.g. around the Business Design Centre - bound to be something near
there. King's Cross will have some hotels I'd imagine, and isn't that far
away (5 mins in a cab/ 2 stops on the tube)

 

Yeah. There is the Jury's Inn down there, and the Hilton, but they're pricey
and over rated.
I don't mind staying in those sort of hotels when I've overseas, but I try
not to when I'm 60miles down the road.
