FOAK: Headlights

Oh font of all wisdom and enlightment, grant me the answer to the following
three questions...

1) Do headlights for modern motorcycles have a left/right bias, i.e. will a
headlight unit for an R6 from the states point the right way? I can't
descern an angle on my bike, but you never know....
2) Why is a headlight unit for my R6 $170 in the States, and £305 + VAT in
the UK?
3) What sort of import duty can I expect if I import a unit (via eBay) from
the US?

....TIA oh masters of all alleged knowledge...

 

Now then, wouldn't it have been handy if this had only been discussed
in the last four hours? For about 4 hours.

All depends on if the headlight has a flat beam or a kicked up one.

If the US one had a flat beam I'd buy it and find a friendly MOT man.
