Is any of the above possible?

Basically we have a project that has cabled up a cellar with HDMI
including to the projector. Only the projector only has VGA/composite and
    s-video inputs(Dell MP2400).

so I have to somehow get the video (audio is dealt with seperately) into
    this projector. anyone any ideas?????

    TIA

Depends on what you want to spend but:

    or

    plus

    Should also work.

    Cheers mate,
The second option of HDMI-DVI then DVI to VGA, any idea how it will
with scaling the image? Its PS3 and Xbox 360 that will be supplied
over the HDMI. TBH I don;t really care about HD quality as its kids
playing games in a youth project.

    Cheers

Can't think there is one, TBH but it looks like an overpriced solution. YMMV

    OT, but.....

I'm almost certain that someone's going to buy this and then complain that
it didn't turn their VGA output into a proper 1080p HDMI input.

Damned certainty, but then again: Would most people that expected that
to happen actually notice the difference?

aye, teh issues I have are that there isn't RCA component inputs on the
projector, I'm happy to drop from hdmi to component and tbh on a projector
I can't see the quality being that much better anyway.

Still as long as it get them off my back

Sorry, I thought you originally said there were. Still XBOX HDMI > VGA
    £0.99

    110169875608

of course the £75 one will do PS3 as well, and they seem more(stupidly)
    expensive.
