There was a great site at
    http://www.borpin.freeserve.co.uk/sbfaq/faq4_c.htm
which according to my Bookmarks was called
"Selfbuild Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) V4 - Contents", it was the
standard repository of all knowledge and wisdom on the subject of
building your own house, including a very detailed section on wiring for
sound and vision and another on centralised vacuum cleaning systems.

I'd *really* like to find a copy of the site, so does anyone here work
    at freeserve?

remove the red fruit if you'd like to email me.
As you can probably tell I'm heavily Dyslexic so errors
and omissions are not just excepted but expected.

    http://www.archive.org/

Holds an archive for most web sites, and the borpin one too, apparently.

How the hell did you do that, I've been googling for hours with no luck?

    Thanks

Quite. And perhaps a little disturbing, too. I had to check my site
to ensure that there weren't backup copies of content that I'd since
    taken down (fortunately there weren't).

Don't worry, Bonwick and I are working on a plan to get your holiday
    snaps somewhere for posterity.

Put borpin into Google and it's the first link.

Ahh but that's the easy way. As the word borpin has nothing to do with
the subject mater I didn't try.

Not that useful, as most people that know the net can be used to give a
negative view of their product/image/religion/etc put in removal
requests. I don't think you'll find Operation Clambake in there for
    starters.

Small things amuse small minds - and Bonwick and I laughed like
    simpletons.

Well, I used to have some of my wedding photos up there. Doesn't
really matter if they're still floating around the web, but I did take
    them down for a reason.
