Any recommendations - my old man is after one so needs to be reasonably
    'duffer' proof!

    TIA

If only 2 big ones of the former - stabilisers will be needed - you can
never have enough of the latter.

We've got a HP OfficeJet 7410 here. It's got shit loads of buttons on
it but I reckon I've only ever pressed three of them. If you cover up
the other 20-odd buttons, I rekon it'd be fairly "Dad-proof".

It's fairly good quality in a Rough Inkjet kind of way.
It's bad because it takes a tri-colour cartridge.

  4. Epson CX5400.

Easy to use. Buttons for everything and a display that talks you
    through setting it up.

Amazing quality, quick as ****, cheap ink available.

    Durabrite ink Does Not Smudge.

Ok, it does, if you take a print out from straight out the printer,
put it under the tap and then rub it with kitchen towl, but only very
slightly and most people don't notice.

    Cheap to buy as well.

    Bit big, but well built.

    Recomendable piece of kit.
