FOAK: European tour

At the start of the evening, we were being ignored, pretty much, until
we ordered the gastro menu, at a heady 110F apiece. Plus a nice white
to go with the trout, and a decent red with the fillet steak, and a
nice dessert wine with the afters. A cognac and a cigar were very
welcome at the end, and we were joined by M and Mme, and didn't retire
until the bottle of cognac was empty.

This was the day after the "free" seven courser with drinks at another
Logis in the Alps, the location of which escapes me. <consults map>

I'm getting the urge to go back to France, but we've already decided
to take the bike to the Bavarian alps next summer. Ho hum. Decisions,
decisions.
