FOAK: eBay quandary

I had a bit of an ebay listing frenzy on Sunday in an attempt to get
myself some space back in the garage.

One of items I listed was a Harley Davidson toolkit. And 24 hours later
I've got 36 watchers and 5 bids. So far so good.

However, today I thought I'd have a look on the HD site to see what the
list price was. $160... made for HD by Snap-On. Aah!

So, I've revised the listing to clarify that it's Snap-On kit, but I'm
wondering if I ought to pull the auction and re-title it. What say the foak?

I'd say leave it. Most people that know Harleys know that the tool kit is
    made by Snap-on.
The fancy screwdriver is great :) like a Russian doll thingy!

  7. I'd leave it. That many watchers so early is a good sign - the HD people
will know what it is and what it's worth.

Pull the listing and retitle. They won't hunt you down.

    I'd leave as is;
    - HD owners love anything branded.
    - There aren't many other uses for A/F tools.

I'd leave it. Anyone searching for a Harley toolkit will find it, &
anyone searching for Snap-On tools is probably heterosexual so wouldn't
    be interested anyway.

I guess I was thinking about those that might search for "snap on tools"
rather than "Harley Davidson tools", but then it'll probably only be the
HD owners that would want the imperial sizes.

You'll be hunted down by gays for that remark. Female gays. Big, hulking
female gays that drive White[1] trucks and ride Harleys.

    [1] well, Volvos now

Well, at least any prostitutes they encounter will be relatively safe.

Round here he'd not be hunted down by gays, but by the police.

I was chatting to one of my neighbours yesterday, and she was telling me
that she had a visit from the boys in blue last week... A local resident
had complained that she may have been using homophobic language such as
"gay" and "dyke" whilst in conversation in her kitchen.

"Did they hear me saying those things?"

"No, but it's what they thought you were saying"

"So, you've come round here to interview me in my own home with regard
to something that I'm reported to have said in my own home that the
    complainant didn't hear?"

    "Yes"

"Well, I didn't say what they suspected I said so will you go back to
them and put the record straight?"

"No, we'll simply close the case"

"What if I was having a conversation about Marvin Gaye and Dick Van Dyke?"

    " "

Nice to know that in the current climate, front-line services will not
    be cut.
