FOAK: Downloading a video from a webpage?

  4. They're less than 10mb. But you have another problem - they're in .f4v
    file format. Facebook doesn't like that, and I don't have anything that
    will convert them to something more useful.

    Or use firefox and download the free 'Ant video downloader'. Works
    fine, even on my locked-down work laptop.

    Out of interest. I use a tiny piece of software called YouTube
    Downloader to convert things. Small and simple.

    I use Download Helper with Firefox. It downloads videos, music and
    whathaveyou. http://www.downloadhelper.net/ You can even download stuff that
    you're supposed to pay for on some sites. Not that I do that of course,
    expecially not if it's music from a band who are trying to make a
    living/breakthrough.
