    The Golf/Bora<aka Jetta>/TT/A3/Octavia/Leon/

Are all based on the same Floorpan, they also use Haldex 4wd not Torsen,
this is how you can tell they are the same underneath.

So a Bora/Jetta is just a Boot version of the Golf, always has been and at
least up untill now always will be.

www.vwvortex.com will explain if you still have doubts.

The Bora has 4 more cylinders, the engine is turned through 90 degrees,
moved back a few feet and drives the rear wheels. Obviously not the
same floor pan. A Maserati looks nothing like a Golf.

    I'll get my anorak.

A Galant is a mid-sized family car. No debate.

I *am* talking about class as in classification, you moron. Can you
see the paragraph I wrote detailing the differences which account for
    their differing classifications (classes).

  11. It's got to be Harley Davidson. A supreme example of marketing selling
as a premium 'brand' while the actual goods are second rate at best.

The Honda Accord and the Subaru Legacy aren't rivals to the 5-series,
    either.

By "German mainstream executive choices" they clearly mean the 325i.

What's the biggest engine in a Galant? What's the biggest engine in a
    5-series?

The 5-series range from 26,100ukp to 44,500ukp. Is the Galant in that
    same range?

Can you find just *one* source that says that the Galant is an
alternative to a 5-series? Specifically naming the 5-series?

You can't see the relevance? Are you stupid? *You* said that a
Galant and a 5-series were in the same class. I've given you reasons
why they would not be classified in the same category. That's totally
    relevant.
So the biggest Galant engine option is the same size as the
    second-smallest in the 5-series?
The Galant is not in the same class as a 5-series. When have you ever
seen a magazine or TV group test: BMW 530i v Mercedes E300 v Jaguar
    S-type v Mitsubishi Galant?
    Performance doesn't mean "speed".
    A 1.8 Galant is quick?

I still *have* a Honda Fireblade. But I have a Kawasaki now too, do I
can't hold my old "Kawasaki's are Rubbish" opinion.

[snip me not buying a BMW]
dwb was doing this yesterday - can you tell me what the answer is,

I'll say it one more time - I don't think BMWs are bad cars. I just
    think they're bought by wankers.

If so, can you give me some info about it?
