FOAK. All in One Printers.

    My ever faithful and trust Epson 600 died recently. (RIP). and I'd like
    something along the all in one printer to replace it.
    I have a good old B&W Laser printer for most printing but would like to be
    able print photo's again.
    Main criteria for the new beast of recommendation would be,

    Scans well,
    Fax (not too important but useful)
    Stand alone copier
    Scans Transparencies and Negs, (_Very_ important)
    Network connection would be very nice.

    oh, and if it prints as well, that would be a bonus ;o)

    Rather fancy the Epson RX620, but can anybody recommend something better.

    I have a now out of date CX3200, it performs very well, and the scanning
    software is one of the best I've used.

    You do need to use it frequently or the heads get clogged.

    got a Lexmark X7170 - can't say it is better but it suits me. Nice
    flatbed scanner.
