    Somehow, the fonts have got all messed up in Agent, and the body of
    messages is in variable font while the subscribed groups pane is in
    Courier. I've tried changing the display preferences in Options, but
    it does not change. Anyone know how to do it?

    I've used Agent for years, and the only way I know is as you've
    described. Options/fonts then selecting the fonts for variable and
    fixed.

    Only other thing I could suggest is reinstalling as an upgrade rather
    than a clean, just in case something's borked in the programme itself.
    Did you get the notice from Forte about 3.3 now being available?

    Not too helpful, I suppose. Sorry!

    I'm not certain that this will work for you, but look for your
    agent.ini file - AFAIK should be in a subfolder called "data" off your
    main Agent folder.

    Under a heading called [Browser] you'll find the font settings.

    First two lines of this section in my agent.ini are:
    NormalFont="MS Sans Serif, 80, 0,0, 0,0,0, 0"
    BoldFont="MS Sans Serif, 80, 1, 0, 0,0,0"

    (with spaces and quotes as shown above)

    Make sure you take a backup copy of your agent.ini before
    experimenting.
