FOAK: 12V power supplies

    I'm after a cheap 12V jobby to power my funky new battery charger. I
    was thinking of something similar to what you might find in a science
    classroom. What other options are there, and where should I look?

    Or should I just fire up eBay?

    What batteries are you charging? If it's lead acid then you might need more
    than 12V. You also haven't said what current you need, it might have some
    bearing. You can get some reasonably powerful wallwarts nowadays quite
    cheaply, other options can be a bit more expensive. Here's the RS components
