The West Australian is running a story today (Friday) voicing calls for
front number plates for motorcycles. The story is based on WA speed
cameras that only take images from the front, and includes the usual
    motorcyclist-flouts-law-by-doing-200kmh-runs-past-speed-camera
justification. It also mentions that motorcyclists have avoided $7
    million in fines in WA.

  2. the obvious thing to do is to start a campaign to remove front plates from
cars so all vehicles are equal in the eyes of the speed camera

surely even the dimmest witted motorist will see the advantages in this
after all it enjoys great media promotion
so the job is half done already

I'm all for that. I was in the USA a few weeks back and in the state
of Pennsylvania they don't have FNP's on cars either.

Does that mean that every motorcyclist who does not speed is in fact
    avoiding paying fines.

  8. A couple of questions for you, if I may...
    What is or are "politions"?
    What's is or are "vespal"?
Are you aware that the most concerted effort to design a viable front number
plate for motorcycles is a scam for which the successful primary mark has
been your very own Victorian state government?

Next time, before you pipe up with the phraseology championed by the same
commentators who, on another day, foster the climate for the adoption of
motorcycle FNP's, you might want to do some research first... or, better
yet, just keep quiet. You'll learn more that way.

In victoria I've never seen a camera that gets you from the front

Wouldn't be hard to just turn the cameras around, but I guess that requires
too much thought for the WA politions. Instead they will go through the
effort of trying to design something that looks like crap and only fits on a
vespal. Got too love the DO GOODER dickheads trying to force front
    numberplates on us.

Well Daaaaaaaaa about Victoria and front numberplate, That wasn't my point.
My point was that almost all speed cameras in Victoria was from the back. WA
should just turn theirs around. I didn't say any about front number plates
in victoria so don't assume you arrogant ****

  12. Are you aware that the most concerted effort to design a viable front
looks like its about to be sold to the westralians too then?

  13. Daaaaaa what about Victoria and front numberplates?
I'll assume again, and imagine that what you really mean by that is,
"My point was that almost all speed cameras in Victoria take photos from the
    back."

Yet, despite thinking that, you don't seem to see anything odd about
Victoria itself being at the forefront of real, practical efforts to develop
and implement a viable front numberplate for motorcycles. Is this because
you didn't know anything about it, or because you're just too thick to
manage two strands of thought at once?
Done. I'll base my assessment of you being an imbecile on the way you have
used unstructured sentences to formulate a reply which shows very clear
evidence of your having only dimly understood what you're replying to...

See? No assumptions there; and, since what you write relies on the reader
being able to fill in some blanks before it can be understood, it would
appear you give me more credit than I am prepared to offer you.

Almost every biker in Australia know that Victoria is the major state
pushing for front number plates. Its usually been in every article about
the topic. Also there is a 100 page plus Project development PDF describing
why front numberplates should be introduced in Victoria and what various
methods should be used for front numberplates, eg stickers, bendable
plastic plates and so on. Don't assume I don't know about the issue I just
thought it was far too obvious to say that victoria is the major pusher of
front numberpates. Everyone already knows this, or do you want me to tell
you again and Again and AGAIN for it to sink in too sink in that solid bone
skull of yours. 100 page report aswell if ya want me to send it too you.

Oh and about me being Dumb, lets see whos dumber based on education and
job, I may be crap at English but I got High Distinctions at uni pretty
much all the way through and am know on 130k plus up to an extra 40k
performance bonus Working as a Project manager/software engineer. How about
    you?

I've worked in Uni CS depts, including one of the top ones in the
country. I know what it takes to get high marks in CS courses. I'm not
    impressed.

I've known a lot of high paid software engineers too. As a sysadmin you
can't avoid it. I'm still not impressed.

Now... if you were able to use your native tongue well, had possibly
read some books and had some idea of discourse, if you were able to
understand the difference between education and university marks, not to
mention the difference between intelligence and pay, well... maybe I'd
    be impressed.

Dicksize wars about uni marks and pay are so... undergraduate, you
know? At least you didn't go on about IQ, that's something in your
    favour.

IK's a snarky bastard but on usenet showing, he's an impressive snarky
    bastard.

I agree with that actually. I know some pretty average people who have
finished some pretty sounding impressive courses. English is my second
language, german is my first and native Tongue.
