Anyone fitted one to a naked bike? I want to know if it's worth
fitting one to my SV cos the wind blast on my lid above 80 is killing
    my neck.

If you've fitted one, can you tell me what make/model, quality of the
parts etc, and most importantly, if it works. I am also considering
fitting clip-ons/rearsets and doing a kinda latter day Cafe Racer
    thing with the SV.

I did the cafe racer thing with mine.

I had a Givi A200 on mine. It did a surprising job with the wind blast
    for it's size.

I also used profi telefix clip-ons.

Excellent, thanks. Now to see if I can get the odd shaped clocks in
    behind a Givi A200

I'm quite happy with the Givi screen, either the A200 [1] or possibly
A210, currently adorning the front of my Bandit, which I'm sure you've
seen at the BH sometime, and would certainly see this weekend were you
able to make it [2]. Despite looking slightly gash, it makes motorway
cruising a lot more comfortable, although I think I have developed
    fairly strong neck muscles anyway...

It cost £20 on eBay some time ago. The ancillaries appear to be good
quality (stainless steel, clean lines). Fitting is simple even for
me, so you could probably do it in your sleep, without your glasses,
and with one hand tied behind your back while the other holds a Black
Russian. The only fly in the ointment is that on the B12 K models the
headlight brackets (to which the flyscreen attaches) carry the
indicator mountings, which clash everso slightly - it still works,
though; I've (allegedly) seen 120+ on the clock (admittedly not for
more than a couple of miles), and (a) the screen hasn't fallen off and
    (b) neither has anything else.

    - other screens are available.
[2] Never mind mate, next time maybe?

I fitted an MRA "Vario" screen to my Zed and it transformed the ride. Prior
to fitting, anything above 80 was a royal pain in the arse, but after it was
fitted, cruising at 120 was peaceful and calm.
Easy to fit (the MRA) and it looks odd, but it works and was WELL worth the
    money.

I have a dark tinted one which used to be on my CB500 an the Zephyr
(till I fitted the drop bars).

You can have it if you want it.

My SV came with a basic fly screen. I took it off once and it made a
huge difference. I'm nearly 6' but if I crouch down a bit the wind noise
gets significantly less. Well worth it I'd say.

Sig snipped here - perhaps it's the original complainant's software.
