Currently use a full face Soumy helmet and foggy mask whilst wearing my
specs, however was thinking of getting a flip up helmet (Caberg), but
worried about fogging up of glases as i will not be able to use the
    foggy mask.
Before spending the cah to find out it was a bad move anyone have any
experience with glasses, flip up helmets and cold weather?

  2. I have the Caberg Jutissimo(or whatever it's called) and am also a 'speccy'.
The vent on the chin of the lid is good at keeping the glasses clear
although I always found mines steamed up a bit, when I stopped for a while,
at lights say. Solution was to stop stopping!
Seriously though, I can't say I have that much of a problem but I don't have
a lot of lid experience to compare the 'steaming' effect to anything else.

Haven't had one yet but have heard that the Revolution by ?Lazer? when
fitted with the breath deflector is really good. Am saving up the
    pennies to try one.

Yes and it is not an issue if you take the advice which should be found
    in the ffaq.

I have the Caberg Jutissimo thing and fogging isn't really an issue with
it. The noise is though and I do look ever so cool with the internal
drop down tinted visor dropped down.

nice but the same money used to buy the same few ounces elsewhere would
    prevent this:-

It is. Well no it's not is it. See it has got stickers on the side and
stuff and you know that it is theoretically fine as a helmet and why
shouldn't it be made out of what looks like tissue paper in this age of
    hi-tech materials?

I can tell you why not. You need good old fashioned mass to absorb the
noise of the wind going by is why not.

Bonus. Goes on without dislodging your bins/earplugs at all, or the
    tube overmuch.

Dunno really. I have done maybe 900 miles tops with it, 600 up and
down motorways and half that pottering around locally. Is that even
    broke in yet?

The shine on the shell is still there when it rains. The one button
face opening is a dream. The ventilation is very good now the weather
    has warmed a little.

The seat belt type strap is quicker and slicker no fucking argument but
I am not happy with it. Doesn't feel as right as a D ring, you don't
have that same freedom to give it an adjust.

I am either going to fit a quieter can or start using earplugs.

    Ho yuss.

Dunnit Wednesday didn't I. I found a pair of the pink ones on blue
plastic string in me tank bag, good they are. A lot of piss palling
about tucking in the string though.

Two things from the experience really.

1 I am going to need a louder can.

2 Stuff the string, I am a singles man me.

  9. It is good - however the breath mask does cut down on the oxygen flow!
    And everything smells of rubber[1]

I have two Shoei Synchrotec II's - one at work and one not for work. I think
they're excellent. Very light, good ventilation and the Pinlock anti-fog
    system works superbly.

I use Bob Heath visor spray on my glasses and don't have any problems.

    Yes.

Others will recommend a variety of commercially available products,
which are all effective. Personally though I find that keeping your
bins clean is about the best thing.
