Don't snigger now, they were playing in Belfast last night. A group were
going and <cough> thoughtfully gave me a ticket as I had done some work for
one of them. Entertaining enough to watch, it was only two and a bit hours,
but I liked the well known drummer's waistcoat. He had wired a few (4?)
bongos into the pockets and played through it towards the end... though for
a bit too long. Nice rear screen projection throughout the gig. Nicks missed
several notes and Buckingham isn't the world's greatest guitarist but he's
    competent.

Most of the audience were a bunch of almost bald grey haired types as one
might expect and that was the women. I left when they all stood up and
started to wave the fag lighters.

There was no blood spilled on stage, nobody attacked the bouncers and there
was no scrapping in the audience.

John Otway has been doing that for years as part of his stage act,
and you don't have to make weak excuses for going to watch him!

Pete Green's bruvver was our manager when I was roadie for Bum. Well he
claimed he was his bruvver, reckoned he was a better guitarist as well
which sort of says it all really I think.

Don't think so but it could be. It was the early seventies. Actually
it may have been the late 60's, my memory is not too clear of those
times. Getting better by the day though.

A band that my brother was in did one gig as Gangrene Penis. They
    quickly changed name.

Some of Gangrene Penis then went on to form Shagnasty which I though
    was a rather good name.

I've never been a roadie, though I've played in several bands.

Stupid name-wise, I've been to a gig where two of the bands were
    called "Prolapse" and "Jobbycrust" respectively.
