I rode my Goldwing into work this morning. When I mounted up on it at
5:20am this morning I thought to myself..damn this thing is low this
morning because I am standing flat footed as hell. I figured I better
air up the shocks a little. About half way to work (16 miles) I
noticed something didnt feel quite right. Motorcycle was kinda
squirrelly. I went ahead and rode on in because I didnt want to be
stranded out on the freeway. When I slowed down to about 15 mph, the
ass end was wanting to pass me. sho nuff...flat rear tire.

When I pulled into work the first speed bump like to have high
centered me. The second and thrid one I was ready so I kinda went at
an angle over those. I pulled into my special motorcycle parking only
spot and I like to have blow out my left nut trying to get the bike on
the center stand. That damn thing is one heavy motha. The bike is so
low to the ground now that the kickstand stood the bike straight up.

Will have to wait till 9:00am when the closest Honda shop opens to see
what to do about this problem. May have to take up some donations
because I bet its going to be 500.00 bucks or more.

I will post again when I get some resolution.

Look around the parking lot and locate some Harley's. Find the owner and
borrow his trailer (sorry Morgan) since you don't have one anymore. Or use
fix a flat to get it to the dealer.

    don't ride on that side. 8-}

Brian has a trailer. Maybe get him to load it up and take it to his dealer.
He can probably get you a good discount also.

Thats right..why didnt I think of that. I believe his dealer is
local..Mesquite right? A discount would be good since its going to be
around 500 at my dealer in grapevine. Thanks Louie for the info.

uh oh, I guess I'll have my reputation for "scamming others" more
solid. I guess I shouldn't have been so quick to scam you out of that
    trailer when I bought it.

Look on the bright side, you can always haul that Goldwing over to
Mike's junk shop and get a new tire put on....of course, you might
have to explain to Mike and his people how to remove and remount that
wheel.....and will likely have to clean your motorcycle back up and
repair the damages Mike's junk shop causes....

How's the condition of your battery? Take it to Mike's junker place
and they'll show you how they'll run the battery down and tell you to
go get a trailer to get your bike back out of there....

I'll bet Redshad would just have to mention my name and he'll get the
same fine service I got....they won't even need to do anything
special, just want they always do!

    Shit! There it is!

I knew I would never live down the reputation of scamming that trailer
    from Redshad!

Well, you're probably well protected/insured. There must
be some package that you acquired with the 'Wing that
will send out a limo to sweep you/Wing back to the deal-
er. I believe we just identified your road hazard....

I will post again when I get some resolution.

Update..Called my Honda GWRA deal. They said they would have a flatbed
wrecker out here within a hour to pick the bike up and take it to the
nearest Honda Dealership and take me within 60 miles free of charge. I
decided not to do this since the nearest Honda Dealership was within 3
    miles of me now.

I went to the auto store and bought a plug kit and a 12v air
compressor. I plugged the tire, aired it up and rode it into the
dealership. Its there now getting new tires on front and back. I went
    with the Dunlop Elite 3's.

ya know, if you'ld quit riding that damn thing so much, and spend more
time being a usenet pussy, you wouldn't wear them tires out so fast.
