Mumble mumble it's not fair; he tricked us by saying the 7:30 report
    instead of A Current Affair!

I thought that was the same show on another channel. Competition by carbon
    copy.

Certainly A Current Affair and Today Tonight are carbon-copies, running the
same beat-ups and advertisements, but I thought the ABC's 7:30 report had
    some cred!
(At least it's got John Clarke and Brian Dawe)

NO, quite the opposite. The Howard Govt tried getting the 7.30 presenter
sacked for presenting the truth about them... but not even the habitually
lying Howard government is bent enough to accuse ACA or TT of telling the
    truth.

Ahh yes, I may have confused today tonite with the 7:30 report. In my
    thinking a truly understandable confusion.

Never watch FTA TV between 6 and 8 pm.

Is that the singular of The Presidio? (Which had the immortal line "If
that's a confession my arse is a banjo!")
"A Few Good Men" is the movie you're thinking of.

ABC and SBS are on Fox. Their funds come from taxes so I don't consider them
    to be 'free'.

I have and I literally use it once-a-week to watch the GPs or Superbikes.
(and I get it disconnected from November to April!)
    Bloody expensive addiction....
