    13 is too tight a run for the chain so you end up with
    increased wear (stretch), and I don't believe you can
    actually buy them anyway.

    Yes, you're probably right. That, and the fact that you deliberately
    make an effort on the BAndit to put it into high revs early: you don't
    even think of trying to accelerate away with less than 6000rpm showing.
