First proper day back on a bike today...

....and I got sent up to London.

Ooh, scything through all that traffic felt *good* after all this time.

Ob bike: Mainly impressed so far - these ride far better than their
reputation suggests; it reminds me of my old CBR600 in so many ways, being
very forgiving and easy to get on with, with a smooth progressive power
delivery, plus half decent economy, even in the face of a good thrapping in
places.

And it was a joy to ride in town due to it being fairly light and stable
when trying to squeeze through gaps.

Not so impressive were my efforts this evening, where I've tried to change
the front pads - a slightly sticking piston has by way of a thorough
hamfisting, turned into one that is even less willing to pop back in its
cubby hole.

Anyway, bollocks to all that - tis but a flesh wound which will be sorted
one way or the other tomorrow... thoroughly enjoyed being back on a bike at
last. :-D
