    Well, it had to happen...

Trying to get to work at some ungodly hour this morning, I wheel the
Pan out of the garage. FFS, that's hard to push, can't remember it was
that hard to push yesterday night. Brakes seized? Ah fuggit, I'll have
a look tonight, just ride it to work now. But before I set off, let's
    check the tyre pressures...

Front checks out OK, back tyre is at 52psi? How did that happen? Have
a look at the pump again, no, 52psi is the indicator for the maximum
pressure allowed, the reason I wasn't seeing the actual tyre pressure
is that it's close to 5psi. Grope around in the dark, yep, flat tyre.
Arse. 5:10 and I've got to be at work before 6:00...

At least the Bimota got me to work with a few minutes to spare, but I
*hate* riding that in the damp.

That'll be cabs to work for the next two days then...

Serves you right for not putting Ultraseal in it. I've got a spare
    bottle....

1% Talent and 99% hard work.

Oh, and I'm not the one paying for the cabs anyway...

There was never any doubt, was there?

Ah well, 1 1/2 weeks, not too bad...
Oi! Next time stick 'em in in such a way that the damage can be
repaired, OK? Because this one looks rather close to the edge.

At least I've found the source of the crunching noise I heard
    on the way home yesterday...

I am relatively new here but would I be right in assuming from the comments
of other that you are the motorcycle equivalent of "Only Fools and Horses'"
    Uncle Albert (His Navel Years).

You are *so* right. If Timo went to sea on an iceberg, it would sink.

Oh no, don't, please. He bought a Honda Prelude with the first ever
fucked gearbox I came across in 20 years of seeing Hondas.

  14. I remember that. He gave me a lift in it.

    It was brown, IIRC.
