  2. I don't have a driveway. :)
Shorts is quite nice actually. The heat from engine balancing
with the cooling airflow from the wind...

It was more that because they legs were loose they flapped around.
The frequency of that flapping reached a point where it was a bit unpleasant
    as the speed went up.

Sort of like a speed limiter.

    That's just lame.

Comprehension does appear to still be lacking though. Or possibly I've
missed the obvious subtle combination of two totally opposite posts to
create one answer not really appropriate to either.

The day I have a positive reaction to some supercilious **** telling me to
smile and enjoy it will be the day I end it.

A regular event back in the days when flares were in fashion. That and
having to tack in a strong crosswind.

I'd still throw a damp cloth in the tankbag, it takes no space at all.
Then again I'd probably do Derby to Scotland in one go only stopping
    briefly for fuel.

    All power to your elbow.

I don't know why it upsets anyone else. It's a form of safety-nazism,
    imo.

Credit card and toothbrush - can also be used for keeping the visor clear of
    bugs.

Are we talking about the same thing? I don't know what the original
poster was thinking about but I've got a visor-wipe thingy which has a few
cc's of cleaning fluid, a sponge and a squeegee all in one convenient
pocket-sized unit. It's much *nicer* riding with a clean visor, and the
combination of dirty visor and rain can be particularly unpleasant.
