That seems to be the standard of repairs round here too.

 

I think it's a brilliant idea - top marks to the man who realised that. I'm
going to write to him and suggest they leave road accident casualties lying
in the carriageway as well, so we all have to slow down to swerve round
them. (HGVs excepted, of course.)

 

Har Har. Ginged by a few minutes.

 

If we put the casualties into the holes we save money *and* solve the
problem..

 

Think of the admin needed!

"Bert - the corpse in hole #32557 is a bit rotted and no longer filling
the hole properly. We need a replacement".

Maybe they could sub the job out to the Met. Police.
