Ta for that .. of more interest, given I live in a very hilly area, is what
are they like on hills? Do they just crawl to a halt and give jup or are
they capable of whizzing up n down dale?

ta muchly :) looks like she's getting a DNA then. She's ridden since she was
    5. Started off with a much pampered PW50, which if I recall correctly
SteveH's brother bought off me? Is it still running Steve or did his boys
    kill it? :)

Then she had a PW80 chassis Honda C90 engined chinese thingy which has been
equally pampered and has performed brilliantly. That can go on ebay when the
time comes to offset the cost of the DNA.

    Best bet for a proper-looking bike would be a 2-stroke enduro-supermoto
wannabe. AFAIK Peugeot, Rieju, Aprilia and Derbi have such things, I saw
said Derbi once and it really looked the part. Height might be an issue, I
also don't know what your price range is.

The already mentioned MadAss is also a fine suggestion. Great design and
your girl won't stink of "eau de 2-stroke". Bit poser-ish for my taste
though and expensive for what it offers.

They are a scooter for the bike-lovers, or a bike for the scooter-
lovers. I think they're a fucking hoot to ride, especially with the 180
    engine.

    Sixteen years old?

I imagine there's quite a few around here who'd happily donate some DNA.

But within a year you can get the RS125, which doesn't need tuning to
do 70mph. That was precisely the reason I didn't **** about with the
TS50 - I saved the money for an all-round better bike.
