I don't know what blood group I am.

On several occasions I've thought I should give blood, not least because
I hate needles and getting past that is quite an adrenalin rush.

On average one "proper" 2-stage interview every 3 years(ish), all but
one resulting in me getting the job. In hindsight it was silly to go
back to the employer I turned down 3 previously for the job I turned
    down.

The more I think about life the more it becomes obvious that the
majority of people never kill each other over the important stuff.

I once had an interview with a company, got offered a good pay rise, and
    things... then turned it down.

18 months later went back to interview with same people.. wasted my
    time.

In hindsight glad I didn't get the 2nd job...

    You're a gin-ger. Who'd want your blood?

I hate needles. My performances on the draining rack are nothing short of
    wossname.

People given the choice between a little bit of ginger infusion or
    death, I'd have thought.

    I'm B negative.

Fortunately, it'a blood group, not a philosophical outlook.

  12. O+. Like 60% of the UK.
Gwan - it's easy and faily painless[1]. And you get a nice cup of tea
    and a biccie afterwards.

I can't give blood nowadays cos of the painkillers and sulphasalazine I
    take for my arthritis :-(

    Phil.

[1] Mind you - I'm fairly used to people sticking needles in me so one
    more doesn't seem too bad.

I don't give blood because it might be used to keep a Frenchman or
    American alive.

You're in the UK, you should give blood. It might kill
a Frenchman or American if they give it to them.

    At least that's the excuse I get when I'm told I can't
donate blood anymore because I've lived in the UK.

I'm a mad cow just waiting to happen, apparently.

Do you have to have fortnightly blood tests because of the sulphasalazine
    Phil?

I did, bloody good job too, cos it started to bugger up my liver enzymes (or
    summat).
