Surely the chunks are suspended in a sort of vinegar-yoghurt plasma? Or were those dry heaves? -- Platypus - Older Than Champ VN800 Drifter, R80RT, Z200 DIAABTCOD#2 GPOTHUF#19 BOTAFOS#6 BOTAFOT#89 FTB#11 BOB#1 SBS#35 ANORAK#18 TWA#15
Using the patented Mavis Beacon "Hunt&Peck" Technique, Platypus I rarely eat yoghurt. More sort of a Hobgoblin-chicken-tikka Bose-Einstein condensate[1] which (it turns out) is a surprisingly good demister. [1] Well, it was *quite* cold out tonight.
FFS Platy, do you have any idea how painful it is spraying Bob Heath Antifog onto the contacts you're wearing? -- O 1 Black, shortly to undergo extensive surgery. 1 Red, undergoing lightweight surgery. ----- 1 Blue, for Power-Ranger baiting. | o | Numbers ... | o | Stuff ... | ooo | Life ... -----

Oh *arse* At that price it would have been a done deal. I saw a Uvex stand, but no heelmets. heh. Well mine does, regularly. One of the reasons I want a Uvex. I expect it to mist up, but I can put a foggy mask on it as well. Shame, cos I like the Lazer. -- Catman MIB#14 SKoGA#6 TEAR#4 BOTAFOF#38 Apostle#21 Tyger, Tyger Burning Bright (Remove rust to reply) Allfa 116 giulietta 3.0l (Really). How many times? Uvex double-glazed visors do not mist. Fact. You can hold the helmet over the steam from a kettle and the visor will not mist. I'm well up there in the ranks of sweaty bastards and I've not seen mist - the only time it came close was when stopped at traffic lights mid-thrash, with humidity so high that steam was rising off the road. In extreme circumstances you might get some small droplets (not mist) appearing around the very edges of the visor, but it will not mist.
I had a bet with BB on this very topic. I would be delighted to have the same with you I can do the same thing with my Lazer. Doesn't mean that it won't mist up on a cold morining with no kettle in sight -- Catman MIB#14 SKoGA#6 TEAR#4 BOTAFOF#38 Apostle#21 Tyger, Tyger Burning Bright (Remove rust to reply) Allfa 116 giulietta 3.0l (Really).
