So i nudged a car 2 back from the police filtering onto a roundabout,
I feel realy guilty about it and would like to know how others have
coped in this situation, there was some white paint on my pannier
racks when I stopped and checked some miles later.

BTW is the law still that you shold stop behind the leading car such
as the leading car at a traffic light, if you are filtering.

Give yourself up now. A plea of terminal stupidity will help reduce
    your sentence.

"In the cycle box ahead of the cage traffic" was of course the correct
    answer

    What did I miss?

You MUST NOT overtake the moving vehicle nearest the crossing or the
vehicle nearest the crossing which has stopped to give way to pedestrians.
    Laws ZPPPCRGD regs 18, 20 & 24, RTRA sect 25(5) & TSRGD reg 10, 27 & 28

  6. The point, but not the car. In other words, you're incompetent. As well
    as dim.

On the topic of missed points - I think you will find that he wasn't the OP,
he was only replying to a question asked by the OP.

Right, that indeed makes me extremely dim.

Don't apologise, it makes you look fallible.
