I'd love to know what was said between Davide Tardozzi and Michel
Fabrizio after R2 of todays WSB meeting at Portimao.

It's been a long time (if ever) since I saw a race winner look so
unhappy but I'm sure he felt better when his boss told him they'd
insist that they were allowed to use bigger engines next year.

    Laugh? I nearly pissed myself.

"I lost a world championship for you - You owe me a [1]"

[1] blow job, championship next year, 6 figure sum, the $1 we bet on
    the outcome.

If it had been me it would have been "You're fired"

I think the body language spoke a thousand words - I thought Tardozzi
was going to pull Fabrizio's hair out at one point.

Fabrizio didn't lose Haga's Championship. Haga lost it for himself.

That's my take on it as well.

Fabrizio couldn't have known where Haga was on the last lap of
yesterdays race so dropping back would have been just plain stupid and
races earlier in the season were supposed to be (as the name suggests)
races so the best man wins.

There'd have been uproar if Yamaha had walked around the paddock
offering cash incentives to riders willing to let Ben Spies pass them
unhindered if he needed to so **** team orders and let the fastest
    rider win.

I know I'm a dinosaur but Ducati already have the dice loaded in their
favour and if their best rider comes second then he's first loser.

He certainly didn't help himself in race 1, that's for sure.

I just think that Spies did all he needed to do in the last race and
nothing more. Fair play to him. Had Haga not fallen in race one and/or
Fabrizio had dropped back at Imola to give him an extra 5 points, I reckon
Spies would have pushed on and got the points he needed. He clearly had
    the pace and out-classed everyone.

I only didn't want him to win coz Haga's one of my fave riders, but at the
end of it all, Spies was annoyingly brilliant.
