Radio that is. 'Listen again' will probably bring it back to you.

About road surfaces, and there were some mentioned that I'm sure
    I have seen here.

Dangerous roads that is, like Dukes (something) and the A477 in
    Sth Wales, A1(M) nth Yorks.

Councils have known about dangerous surfaces and yet they did not
    replace them.

Bring in the lawyers and the popcorn.

The council bloke had me ranting at the radio.

Police class 1 instructor follows a very experienced guy into a bend,
watches him bin it and slide (to his death) under an oncoming car. He
said the speed and line were perfect, and there was melted overbanding
all over the guys tyres when he examined it after the bin. Coroner
    blames incorrectly applied road surface.

Council bloke: "He was going too fast".

To be strictly fair, he obviously *was* going too fast for the
conditions. It was just that one of the conditions was that the road
had been badly repaired in a way which was not at all apparent.
    True.
