Cost a 16 year old girl her life & he's now in the slammer.

94mph in a 30 limit with no blues & twos?

It doesn't say what speed the other car was doing & what 'crime' he had
commited, but i don't it would have 94mph.

This is what happens when they concentrate on fucking traffic & motorists to
solve every other crime the lazy shower of cunts rely upon ANPR for.

Elsewhere it seems the other car wasn't speeding at all, but had
triggered an 'alert' on the in-car computer. And in fact was all above
    board.

Exactly, i mean, you can forgive the ofdd computer glitch, but to travel at
that speed with no lights on & no sirens regardless of what the cunts in the
other car had done is bloody stupid.

TBH I'm not sure what your problem is, apart from chronic Daily
Mail-itis. He fucked up and is going to be punished.

    Quite.

    But stuff like this:

"At the time of the crash, the qualified advanced driver was travelling
so fast he had effectively become a passenger in his own car and had
surrendered "to physics", an expert witness told the jury."

makes me put the witness in the same league as people from Brake.

At such a speed I'm astonished he wasn't asphyxiated.

It all seems to ignore the fact she stepped out onto the road in front
of him without looking. In which case WGAF.

  9. Using the patented Mavis Beacon "Hunt&Peck" Technique, Hog
She had a reasonable expectation that he wouldn't be doing 90 in a 30
    limit.

If I had to drive through Scotswood at night, I'd be going as fast as I

I saw the in-car video of it yesterday. At that speed she had very
little chance of getting out of the way. He came over the brow of a
slight hill doing around 90, there was a slight right hand bend ahead,
they were maybe 70 metres away (possibly less) when they could be seen
    crossing the road.

Why? if she had looked and listened she would have been aware. Sure, he
should have put his blues on but it seems to me he carries all the
blame. Had he lobbed it onto the pavement that would be a different
    matter.

Funny that in all these years and being regulary cunted and out on the
street I've always avoided getting knocked down.

Have you not seen the video from the police car itself? It comes round
a corner with the speedo reading over 90 mph, no blue lights, no
siren, and she's just ahead. When you've had a few drinks time moves
slowly. For all we know she has a look to her right, nothing there,
steps out into the road, starts to cross a bit slowly, he hits her.
    Entirely his fault IMHO.

Plus - which of us hasn't staggered home half-cut on occasion?

I really don't believe you DGAF, in which case you're trolling - as
    usual!
