The prices for a weekend trip to French France from Dover for a weekend
have gone mad, anybody got an idea how to get 16 motorbikes over there
    for a reasonable price?

For some of the bikes that would be ok, but there are a few new ones
whose owners might get the hump.

Try and get another 4 bikes and see if P&O will do you a group
    booking.

  5. Check out the Ramsgate-Ostend crossing via LDLines - although the extra
    hours/miles might make it a no-go.

  6. I have found that Norfolk Lines to Dunkirk are cheaper than going to
Calais, it would probably be worth a look.

Book your crossing onboard either 'Spirit of Britain' or 'Spirit of
France' (PO Ferries new ships) and you can sail to the continent for
£30 return (120hrs)* or £30 each way (period Return).
There are a very limted number of tickets available.
Book before 22:00 (GMT) 1st February to enjoy these 'NEW' luxury
    ships.
To Book: Go to www.FerryCheap.com or call 01304 501100, and ask for
the 'Spirit of Britain' or 'Spirit of France' vessels and we'll quote
you a fare based on the current availablity.

    Just posted on UKGSer

"Just booked 9 bikes through nutt travel.

In may, out Monday, back Thursday, £35ea, sea france. That's non changeable
(without a fee) but still a good price I think."

I've never heard of them but google threw up http://www.nutttravel.com/
