Unless you're in Scotland, you're wrong.

The UK chain seems to have renamed itself Leedle, for some Bizarre
    reason.

But actually, I quite like it. Lots of decent, cheap, slurping wine
(some of it actually quite good) for a start. Last week I also got
some folding reading glasses for EU2.99.

Once you've negotiated the trailer park trash, the goods are quite good
    value.

Odd. I've certainly never heard it pronounced in such an exaggerated
way before, in (German-speaking) France, Switzerland or Germany.

HTF can I use it when the option isn't available at the time I want to
    use it?

Never had the inclination to visit Scandiweeja before and now, it's
    rapidly leaving me... Ho hum...

Ocado online shopping. I'm a Waitrose convert following my experiences
in Bath and now only them delivering to my door will suffice.

The ferries over Öresund still runs. There are two different companies
running ferries there now. "HH Ferries" and "Scandlines". The cost is about
the same as the bridge between Malmö and Copenhagen even a bit cheeper. One
reason people still use the ferries is that the travel distance on the road
is less than when going over the bridge, if one is going further north in
Sweden and not to the extreme south.

You've obviously never been to Stalybridge.
Thankfully, I don't live in Stalybridge.

The cheap, but useable compressors and the *very* cheap and disposable power
tools. I seem to remember lots of people going to Lidl for such items and
being pleasantly surprised by the quality, particularly at the prices they
    charge.

I was given one of their 1/2" drills (capacity, so ner) which cost about 10
quid and it's worked perfectly for the last 3 years with never so much as a
whinge. It gets used bloody regularly too.

That's how they advertise it on TV here and I'm sure the ad must've been
presented to Lidl's board before being released. (The ad, not the board)

If by "years ago" you mean 2006, then Ok, coz I was sailing on one in
August of that year. Probably one of the last though.

    Should have gone sooner :p
resist the issue, hop down to Harwich, then through Denmark and over the
    bridge. Well worth it.

I think you can get a Ferry from Bergen to Lerwick and the Aberdeen for the
    return :)

the ferries run all year. I doubt there are many non-freight vehicles from
October to April or on Wednesdays

Do I *really* look like a postman?

S81 means as much to me as EH-101 means to the person who named it.

Indeed it does, but drving over the bridge is a lot less aggravatin. A lot
    faster too.

I considered the ferry back in 2006, but decided on the bridge purely from a
"tourist" point of view, but the speed I got across and up the road from
Malmo would make the decision the same if I did the trip again.

    Ferries are a fucking nightmare.

Indeed it is, although he should still be able to ferry from Hull to either
    Rotterdam or the Hoek.

Fucking magic roads in Sweden for bike riding.
