Cracking match I thought, reminded me of the Borg/McEnroe days. An epic
battle like Wimbledon last year.

I hope Murray will play like that if he gets to a grand slam final with
either of them.

 

Murray has tanned the arse off both of them, on several occasions, in
recent times.

 

I know he had beaten them both recently (AIUI he was unbeaten since
last November until the Aussie), but a GS final might be a little
different.

It would be really great to have a British Wimbledon champion sometime
soon, rather than a Scottish loser.

Murray was fatigued by the time he got to the quarter finals. He's improved
immensely over the last year. He has a way to go to have the mental and
physical stamina to compete with Nadal and Federer in a tournament that can
involve 8 five set matches in 14 days.
