Federal Election: survey

Discussion in 'Australian Motorcycles' started by Zebee Johnstone, Aug 20, 2004.

  1. This came through on the MCC Delegates list today. If you want to fill
in a survey, try ringing Senator Heffernan's office and asking for one
    (02) 9357 2600

It's a federal election, so even though he's a NSW rep, poke him for
    your survey now!

    Riders,

The Hon Bill Heffernan Senator for NSW is collecting road safety black
spot surveys that are being distributed via Liberal Candidates. I assume
it will be all of them. Mine came in the mail from the candidate for
    Greenway.

I sent it back with the link to Positioned for Safety and suggested he
reads it and gets back to me to discuss motorcyclling issues.

The point is these are free kicks that we don't normally get so if you
see anything in the polly mail you are no doubt receiving please be sure
to make comment and return it to ensure we stay on their radar.

  2. Can I ask then what the main topic of discussion would be? If we all added
to a 'list' then we surely would get our point across easier than fragmented
    bits and pieces...

    Items like the..
    cheese-grater road fences
    painted slick white road lines/markings
the tar repair crap that is poured between cracks that is even more slippery
than white markings (especially in the heat of the day)

    what else... add away
