They were saying this morning on the radio that she hit a power pole after swerving to avoid a car.

    Hi,

    http://news.com.au/common/story_page/0,4057,9516735%5E1702,00.html

I passed this site on my way to a mate's to watch the GP. At around 22:10
the entire northbound lane was blocked off from Bridge Road... Police had
stadium lights set up, doing technical analysis. It didn't look very good. A
fair few rear enders in the southbound lane as well.

Does anyone know what happened. I hope it wasn't anyone anyone here knows?
    My sympathies...

I saw two seperate cases of cars rear ending each others on my way to work
this morning. Two cars on Plenty road just before Bell St. while a four cars
pile up occured further down on Bell St. just before St George road.
People's brains must have frozen this morning or something.

I knew her some years ago.
She was always an enthusiastic rider, enjoyed going to rallys and such.
Just thought I'd mention who it was in case anyone wished to know.

Ah shit, I think I know who you mean. Shortish girl, long mousey blone hair,
dark blue, well used Honda Revere, I think she might have ridden with QL
club, often seen in the general vicinity of Possum.

Same person?? If so, great shame, she was a regular face at many rallies. If
it wasn't her, many sympathies to family anyway

LOL...she was an exotic dancer. Irony is she worked and died on the "pole".

That'd be him, might have a son but if he didn't bring him to rallies I
haven't met him. Sadly it is who I suspected, a phone call last night
    confirmed that.

rallying... We had in few weeks ago when they headed to a rally, some
dude got pretty sick apparently.. Nice people..

    Shame about the chick though...

I passed the site again today on my bike, seeing the flowers attached to the
    pole.

    Very sad. :(

Ohhh so that was what it was. I was heading south try to avoid
    the afore mentioned rubberneckers.

My condolances. At least she went out doing something she loved.
