    Aren't too bright.

I received a notice that I failed to pay the toll at the Benecia Bridge
back in April. There was a dodgy picture included on the notice, you
could tell it was a harley, but could not clearly make out the plate.
They took a WAG and came up with my SV650.

I wrote a nice letter explaining the difference between an HD and a
Suzuki. I even sent them a picture of my bike. I hope someone there is
smart enough to tell the difference.

Man - that sucks. Good luck to you. Paying for someone else' crime is
an injury - that person being a Harley Rider just adds insult to it.

I hope you're not foolish enough to assume there is. It's a real drag to
get pulled over for some minor infraction and discover there's a bench
warrant on your ass. If I were you, I'd be down at the traffic court window
    first thing in the am.

    from the Fastrak FAQ:

    FASTRAK™ TOLL VIOLATION PAYMENT NOTICES
"If you believe you have received the violation payment notice in error, please follow the
instructions provided on the notice. "

If I were you, I'd call Fastrak - the courts aren't going to be involved.

Even if you don't pay the fine? You may be right, but I sure wouldn't take
any chances. I'd find what happens if the fine is not payed and I wouldn't
back off till I had something signed in my hands.
