No, not your bog-standard nuts and bolts.

What I'm after is a company that can supply all those bizarre fasteners
that are used on fairings, trim, bumpers, etc.

    This sort of thing:

.... and also, things like a screw with a ~18mm diameter mushroom Philips
head, an 8mm diameter, 4mm long shoulder, and an M6 10mm threaded
section, used for securing a bumper.

    Anyone?

This might sound obvious, but car dealers with parts departments sell
that sort of stuff you know...

That fastener looks like the sort of thing that used to hold my door
    panels on.

Well, yes - but they have a tendency to charge GBP3.50 for a tiddly
piece of plastic that's worth 20p.
Aye; door trims, fairing panels, radiator grille trims, all sorts... but
if they're so commonly used, why aren't they easier to get hold of?

    How about these bods ...

They seem to want to send out samples, rather than having you pay, but you
might have to pretend to be some kind of factory or something.

I'll have a look later, when I've got a decent connection.
Hmmm... might get away with that for a one-off, but not really any good
    for repeat business.

Again? You think that there's a gap in between? ;-)

Button and Lock Ring. Isn't that what you're after?
