    I remember the signs on the F6 and F3 that warned of police aerial patrols.
    Without exception someone always sprayed "Pigs in space"[1] over the sign.
    Always got a laugh out of that :)

    [1] Think "Muppets"...if you don't remember them, you're too young to get
    the gag.

    I agree. A much more accurate way would be to fit every vehicle with a
    transponder similar to those which they use at racetracks for lap timing which
    identify the vehicle and then have sensors in the road connected to computers
    which at various locations, say every 5 metres on every road, check your speed
    and issue you with infringement notices automatically. :)

    ....then they replace the ignition key with a swipe card thingy for your
    credit card - and the whole Orwellian nightmare becomes reality :p
