  2. Really? Where are you starting (or should that be looking from? <Cue
Bloody Volvo Driver slander>. When did they move Mt Ousley Road so Mt
    Pleasant didn't come off it?

Anyway Mt Keira is still 2500, so you'd need to revise your time to be "in
    the country/country rates".

Mt Pleasant road comes of it if you are southbound but if northbound you
    cant
    turn into Mt Pleasant Road
Well if thats the P/C for Mount Keira public school then I am well and
    truely
    passed it

btw: do you think this will make the most useless thread for 2004

  4. Nope, if I put in a city postcode on the MAA site, all the prices go up for
me ($361 - $605.50). Still the best for my postcode was $356 Range; $356 -
    $577.
Conditions: >300cc, fully insured, max no claim, youngest rider 40/F

  5. Mt Pleasant road or Mt Pleasant?

Mt Ousley Road runs right (as in all the way) to the roundabout at the
Northgate station, plenty of opportunity to turn into Mt Pleasant.

More pedantically, you could go over the bypass and come back and then turn
    into Mt Pleasant.
But if you want a true "country" postcode, you need to head further.
    Not by a long shot!

I am calling it My Ousely Road but its actually the highway and whats its
    proper name
is I wouldn't have the faintest.
    Northgate station ????
True ???? As far as I am concerned Keiraville is as country as country can
    be .
I could always register it in Bathurst at my mums place but not keen on that
    idea.

I know that. I did say "doesn't work that well...", I suppose I should
have said "new or expensive bikes".

Gary (not buying a new or expensive bike any time soon)

On my home machine (running Mandrake Linux) if I set the timezone to
anything other than "Universal Time" the hardware clock gets bounced
around and ends up a couple of days out of adjustment. I'm too lazy
to fix the problem properly, so you'll just have to cope. ;-)

  10. In aus.motorcycles on 12 Jan 2004 13:21:05 -0800
So set the hardware clock in the BIOS to UTC time and the timezone to
your local timezone and all should work properly including daylight
    saving changes.

  13. Mount Ousley Road, doesn't go on to join Figtree etc, its the one that heads
straight for the "Northgate Centre". It used to be a T intersection and now
has a roundabout that takes you to Nth W'Gong or Fairy Meadow.
Filling station. I did mean centre, but it came out as station. You cant
    have missed it?

Don¹t go to Tassie then, or WA....

    under the
    bed and slurred:
You don't need to get far out of Perth to be labelled country. I live
55 kms from the CBD, commute to there three days a week and live where
I know all my neighbours within 2 kms and a heap of other people in
the area. People wave to me on the road when I get to less than 8 kms
from home. In the city I barely knew my next door neighbour.

And, due to our 'equal' voting system, my vote is worth twice that of
    a 'city' voter.

    Cool, eh?

No mate, he was late because it was a wedding. He's usually late to
funerals too, since they're much the same thing.
