Just come back from RAF Cosford and decided to take the errr more scenic
route via Stafford, Uttoxeter, and kept away from the motorways as much as
    poss.

There are some *superb* twisties out of Stafford that I'd forgotten about
completely! The R1 was in fine form with the extra weight from my rucksack
behind me and a new rear tyre, and althought the roads were ferkin cold and
I had one ro two slides of the rear end, it really made me feel alive!

It wheelies much better with weight on the back too - and as I took my first
pillion on it last week, I think I may have to play around a bit to see what
it can actually do. God I love my R1 )

    There were many <VVVVBG>'s today

Heh - sounds like you had fun.)

The Shropshire roads looked a bit too damp today - I was almost glad I
didn't have time to ride my bike.

I looked out at an orange hued world at one point today. Seriously
bouncing rain. It was quite impressive, in a "I'm glad I'm in here and
not out there" kind of way.

Jen, seeing as the weather is going to be nice tomorrow, do you fancy
meeting up somewhere? Like, perhaps, DB or Rivvy?
