    "Top posting"?
At least some people have more than an iota of sense:

"My nine-year-old daughter begged me to stay up and watch it,
but I didn't let her because I expected bad language. I mean for
goodness sake, why else have they got Johnny Rotten on?"

20 people thought that the word, "Jew", was very severe swearing.

What a bunch of cunting motherfuckers they must bastard be.

I can understand an objection to "yid" or "kyke", but surely "jew" is
    just a description?

I think it depends on the context. If it is used as derogatory term then
    it could be offensive.

**** it, it's still not swearing.

  13. Yeah, but it's the sort of idiot who can't figure whether to use "black",
"neeegro", "darkie", "coloured" or "silvery moon"...

Dunno how common it is nowadays, but it was certainly used in a
derogatory sense for non-jews when I was a kid.

Not that that makes it a swear word, mind.

I can see how in the context of - for example - referring to a
non-jewish person as a "jew" because they've been tight with money as
    being "offensive", but...
    that's what I meant.

And do you have a message for the 10 people who thought that, "God", was
very severe swearing or the 14 who rated, "Jesus Christ" in that category?

I can just see them, sitting in Church, their fingers in their ears, going,
"La la la, I can't hear you."
