I saw a Beemer recently with just the top half of an old RS fairing
fitted and realised that it looked rather good except for the headlight.
    Just snaffled this on eBay

It shouldn't be too hard to fibreglass/ally modify the front to take
twin projector lights, even 3 in a triangular pattern. 2 high beam and 1
projector low. 2x4inch standard type units would probably fit too.Can
anyone point me to a source of such lights.

The standard mounting frame should mount on most headstocks with minor
    mods.

Only one question remains to be answered..... what to mount it on.

Seriously, though, that BMW fairing is still *so* good looking (and I
suspect that it's because form followed function), that I can see it
looking perfect on one of the modern 'angular' bikes. Like a new model
    Suzuki SV650.

OTOH, on the 'melted jelly' bikes like the naked Fazer 600 and whatever
the Suzuki thing is called, it would look dreadful.
