    Right,

have tried everywhere else, maybe you can help me.

I need a fairing subframe for an '89 350 ypvs FII. After lots of fetteling,
new oil, cleaing, de coking of exhausts, the bugger decided to snap and ruin
my enjoyment. Does anyone have one of these lying around? Failing that, does
anyone know anywhere in Bristol that would interested in doing the smallest
amount of welding ever? (to repair present subframe, two welds of about a cm
    each.

    TIA

RD350 YPVS (now with new wavy front end where subframe has broken)
Vespa T5 (post your own gay joke here)

What an odd combination of PTWs to own.

Do you constantly try to beat yourself up?

    Nah,

it's simple. I love two strokes. Nothing better than the feeling of leaving
a 4 grand 600cc for dead on your 89 £700 scrapper. Honestly the matching
leather brigade hate being left in a haze of blue smoke. The 350 YPVS could
just as well of been a RG250 Gamma or a TZR, but I couldn't find one at a
    price I liked.

The scooter, well, you've seen Quadraphenia? but honestly, I have a Golf
Gti. The wife drives that and I am not allowed it, therefore I go to work on
every working day of the year, rain, hail or snow on a bike. Ever tried
riding an RD350 in the snow? Neither have I and I am not about to try, but
the wee scoot! Had it three years and it has needed three speedo cables and
two tyres. Thats it!! Last time a got a flat, threw it over on it's side and
had in changed in 7 minutes. May be a bit gay, but it's more reliable than a
tonka truck. The legshields protect you from rain. As you have a floor, you
don't get soaked by water thrown up. Ever tried drving one in the snow? Yep,
    it was absolutely fine.

    So now you know!!

Anyboby got a subframe or can reccommend a welder in Bristol?
